I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to post their very strong opinions about just about everything on this forum. I especially appreciate those who are super pro this or completely anti that. Vegans, vegetarians, Democrats, Republicans. pro-life, pro-choice, pro gay, anti gay, gun control, Obama, Romney whatever. Your zealous bigotry and commitment to absolutist generalizations remind me to avoid thinking and living in such a limiting way. I am grateful that there are people out there who search out information to support their opinions without searching for the contrary “facts”. Everyday I look to you to remind myself to be more open-minded, to look at all the sides to any story, to question “facts” and to look for new ways to be free of assumptions. Your ignorance and judgment of others who are not like you remind me to be grateful and accepting of diversity and to be more forgiving and understanding of all. You are truly a gift in my life. You keep me human in the best possible sense of the world. Thank you!
