As the full moon radiates, self-expression may increase within the flurry of internet society. In other words, the opportunity for the individual to feel unique within the many expands as more people enter the network. This may sound paradoxical, but when people who are not “native” to the on-line community enter it, they create changes within it.

But the Full Moon is not just about the internet. If you remember where you were at this time of year in 1990, we were going through the same couple of eclipses. There usually is a similar theme that is touched in your life.

Eclipses open a door and we get a glimpse of what could be. It requires change and direction to maximize the energy released. If you feel a strong impulse as to where you’d like to go, regardless of how impossible it may seem, set your sights on it and aim high. The odds are it won’t happen overnight, but if you kindle that fire within you, you may be closer than you think.

You may find choices the hardest part of the day. It may be better to commit to one activity and be fully present than running in and out to try to satisfy all invitations.

You might want to ease up on the day’s tasks and deadlines if possible. If you allow yourself some playtime or a creative outlet, the logic may fall into place. At the very least, you will have a better time.

The moon enters Leo at 12:41 pm EST which may stir up a need to DO something. It is Sunday after all,  so play or enjoy a creative project. The key is to stay present and not be attached to the outcome or ideas of perfection. 

Mercury stays retrograde through February 1, so back up files, save and double-check your appointments. Meditation, memory and revision ability is heightened.

Shakespeare had an innate appreciate of astrology, whether he knew much about it or not.  It’s difficult not to hear his works like “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and think he didn’t know astrology. He was so right on when he wrote poetically about the stars and man’s place underneath the heavens. He recognized timing and cycles.

With the Leo Moon on 12/16, you can acknowledge that the world is your stage. This isn’t about ego. Instead, this requires careful steps with full recognition of their impact.

As a result, you may step with total confidence in the direction you want to go… as long as you’re willing to accept the consequences.

Today can be very demanding in the work environment or with your daily tasks. A playful attitude can help put things in perspective. Children tend to make games of things, no matter how austere their environment. If you take a moment to  see your world as though it were brand new to you, it may surprise you.

The moon enters Virgo at 8:13 pm EST. With the quieter energy an evening at home can be satisfying, especially if you are involved with a craft, writing or nesting for the winter.

Even though it may seem challenging to communicate an idea or emotion, this is a good day to work on getting it across. Be sure to answer the call of a childlike desire to play, whether you like to paint, do a crosswords, jump on a trampoline or watch a film. You might want to lounge with a lion’s grace which can be lovely alone or romantic with a partner.

The moon enters Leo in the late afternoon and you may experience quick shifts. Save your energy for the evening when you can have more of a workout: either at the gym or running around town.

If you’re going to a movie or to hear music, plans may change but that doesn’t have to dampen your evening. If you feel lines of communication are tangled, it might be good to relax. Sometimes if you try too hard, logic gets in the way of really listening. And remember, having fun and truly laughing are as important to your well-being as diet and exercise… maybe even more-so!
