Once the moon enters Capricorn however, all that changes. There is a strong desire to accomplish and to build bridges; cement bonds and go after what you really want.

Venus symbolized war to the Mayans, but also indicates decisions made at times of conflict.

As Venus crawls across the Sun (in retrograde motion), we are asked to reflect on whatever wars inside us; what are we holding on to so tightly that has definitely outworn its use?

Part of the way the Mayans used the Venus cycles was to plan their corn production; corn was the staff of life for their culture. Ironically, corn has become the major crop for the U.S. Since Venus symbolizes what we value, we could take a lesson from the Mayans and not keep all our eggs in this one basket.
