The Moon is VOC* from 1:08 am to 8:31 am ET, so a morning of minimal or no obligations is best.
Once the moon enters Capricorn however, all that changes. There is a strong desire to accomplish and to build bridges; cement bonds and go after what you really want.
An upset can derail plans in the evening, but only if you let it. Don’t be so set on your course that you lose flexibility. Even though the initial plans may not seem to allow your long-range vision, keep it in your sites in spite of deterrents.
Eventually the big plan will have its day. Deep conversations can lead to greater insight, either financially or in regards to relationship.
…and with a longer range perspective: the Venus piece:

The Venus transit is a rare occurrence that happens in pairs, the first was 2004. The Mayans valued the movements of Venus. It is no coincidence that Venus will float like a beauty mark across the face of the Sun as we approach the end of the Mayan Calendar. Venus symbolized war to the Mayans, but also indicates decisions made at times of conflict.
As Venus crawls across the Sun (in retrograde motion), we are asked to reflect on whatever wars inside us; what are we holding on to so tightly that has definitely outworn its use?
Part of the way the Mayans used the Venus cycles was to plan their corn production; corn was the staff of life for their culture. Ironically, corn has become the major crop for the U.S. Since Venus symbolizes what we value, we could take a lesson from the Mayans and not keep all our eggs in this one basket. It is thought the Mayan culture fell in part due to agricultural challenges.
In the horoscope set for Washington DC, Sun/Venus lands in the house of day-to-day living and routine, of which diet is part and parcel. In spite of the theatre of the day, Venus is challenged by the position of Mars. So when you read stuff about the Divine Feminine returning, know that she comes armed to the teeth!
Moon/Pluto in Capricorn rising, is another strong symbol of unrelenting transformation.
The Mayans viewed time as cyclical. This is endings and births and dissolution, evolution and creation. Although the orbits of the planets mirror the cycles of life, they are continually changing in relationship to one another, suggesting evolutionary spirals. Astrologers see Venus as symbolic of money, love and the Divine Feminine.
We are in the period of Kali-Yuga to the Hindus indicating irrevocable change. It is time to emulate ferocious compassion. Venus’ movement indicates a strong stance for what you truly value can make a huge difference. It is important to have the clarity that inner reflection brings.

*Moon VOC/Void-of-Course… in Sagittarius you may want to explore but don’t expect to find anything… keep your eye on the gas tank if you go for a long ramble.

Cool simulation of Venus transit from your perspective.. http://liveoncampus.com/wire/show/3385484
